DDD is unique in its ability to deliver end-to-end data creation, curation, labeling, and annotation services, regardless of scale, with a guaranteed level of quality.

Your tasks

We are recruiting highly skilled linguists and creative thinkers for an exclusive content development project. Our goal is to evaluate and push the boundaries of advanced linguistic and reasoning capabilities by creating original, highly complex reasoning puzzles in various target languages. These puzzles must be solvable by a smart, educated native speaker, but resistant to standard automated solving techniques or web searches.

As a Puzzle Designer, you will write original reasoning prompts in your native language. You will focus on deep structural, cultural, and logical nuances that only a true native speaker can navigate.

You will create puzzles across three primary categories

  • Linguistic Reasoning: Puzzles based on complex grammar rules, syntactic structures, or linguistic ambiguities unique to your language.
  • Cultural Reasoning: Logic puzzles grounded in deep cultural context, local traditions, or culturally-grounded mathematics that AI lacks the lived experience to understand.
  • Wordplay & Riddles: Advanced, original riddles, puns, or double-meanings that do not exist on the internet and cannot be easily translated word-for-word.

Deliverables per item For every puzzle you create, you will be required to submit the following:

  1. Native-Language Prompt: The original puzzle written flawlessly in the target language.
  2. Gold Answer: The definitive, correct solution.
  3. Rationale: A logical breakdown of why the answer is correct and how a native speaker arrives at it.
  4. English Translation: A high-quality English translation of the prompt, answer, and rationale for project managers to review.
  5. Difficulty Rating: An assessment of how challenging the puzzle is for a native speaker.

Requirements

Who We Are Looking For

  • High proficiency in English to provide clear, accurate translations and rationales.
  • Background in Linguistics, Creative Writing, Translation, or Logic/Mathematics: You understand the mechanics of your language deeply.
  • Creative & Analytical Thinker: You can design problems that require lateral thinking, cultural context, and multi-step reasoning rather than memorized facts.
  • Advanced Problem-Solving Awareness: You understand how automated and computational systems process language, enabling you to design highly resistant, complex prompts.

What to Avoid (Disqualifiers)

  • Trivia questions or historical facts that can be Googled.
  • Translating existing English riddles or math problems into your native language.
  • Copying puzzles from books, websites, or existing online databases.
