A Level Mathematics & Physics Teacher
About the Role
A leading International Academy is seeking a highly qualified and experienced A Level Mathematics & Physics Teacher to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in Mathematics and Physics to A Level students, preparing them for Cambridge assessments while fostering academic excellence and critical thinking.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mathematics and Physics lessons in line with the Cambridge International A Level Curriculum.
- Develop lesson plans, schemes of work, and assessment materials.
- Prepare students for Cambridge A Level examinations through effective teaching and continuous assessment.
- Monitor, assess, and report on students' academic progress.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Integrate technology and practical teaching approaches into classroom instruction.
- Maintain effective classroom management and uphold school policies.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
- Participate in departmental meetings, school activities, and professional development programmes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning within the department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, specializing in Mathematics and Physics.
Experience
- Minimum of 7 years' teaching experience in a Cambridge Curriculum School.
- At least 2 years' experience teaching Cambridge International A Level Mathematics and Physics.
- Demonstrated success in preparing students for Cambridge A Level examinations.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of the Cambridge International A Level Mathematics and Physics curriculum.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve academic excellence.
