Your tasks
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will ensure the timely and efficient cleaning, folding, and organization of linens, towels, and guest clothing. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and presentation that our guests expect. Prior hotel experience is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn and grow within the hospitality industry. The Laundry Attendant plays a vital role in supporting the overall guest experience by providing fresh, clean linens and ensuring laundry operations run smoothly.
Duties
- Operate commercial laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and folding machines efficiently and safely.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize linens, towels, and guest clothing according to established standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas, including cleaning machines and workspaces regularly.
- Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing.
- Ensure all laundry is handled with care to prevent damage or loss of items.
- Assist with delivery or distribution of clean linens to various departments within the property.
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for chemicals used in laundry processes.
- Support other housekeeping or maintenance tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
Experience
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience with laundry or cleaning duties is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with commercial laundry equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for maintaining quality standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to laundry operations and hospitality services.
What we offer
Pay: $17.60-$18.50 per hour
