Demonstrable working knowledge of email platforms and SEO tools.
Able to build and edit modular, mobile-responsive email templates without relying on flat image files or a designer
Comfortable working inside ecommerce platforms (products, collections, discount codes, basic troubleshooting). No development skills required
Strong written English to a publishable standard - you will be writing emails and blog posts that go out unedited
Portfolio or evidence of live work: examples of campaigns and flows you personally built, ideally with open, click, or revenue figures attached
Proven ability to work autonomously and asynchronously with a founder in a different timezone, managing your own priorities without daily supervision
Ideally 4 hours daily overlap with Western European (UK) time
Reliable high-speed internet and a suitable work-from-home setup
Advantageous
Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals: keyword research, on-page optimisation, content briefs
Experience with a multi-brand marketplace or a catalogue of 100+ products
Familiarity with Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, or Screaming Frog
Background in sustainability, wellness, beauty, or home and cleaning categories
Experience using AI tools to speed up content production and research
Customer support or community management experience
Note on education: A degree is not required. We will weight a portfolio of live campaign work above formal qualifications.
