gymnastics coach

York Stars RGC is looking for a Gymnastics Coach for various programs, ages & abilities. Depending on your experience, education, etc. we will be able to further discuss types of programs, ages of gymnasts, schedule, etc.

*We are open to training dance, ballet or artistic gymnastics instructors for this role. *

Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead gymnastics classes for children of various ages and skill levels
• Teach proper techniques and skills for gymnastics routines
• Provide guidance and support to gymnasts during training sessions
• Create a safe and positive learning environment for all participants
• Develop lesson plans and progressions to help gymnasts improve their skills
• Monitor and assess the progress of each gymnast
• Communicate with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a gymnastics coach or in a related role
• Knowledge of gymnastics techniques, skills, and safety guidelines
• Ability to effectively communicate and work with children of different ages
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
• Ability to pass a background check

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour
