Job Summary Perform welding tasks by reading blueprints and operating welding machines to produce and repair metal parts while ensuring quality and safety standards. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to guide welding tasks Set up and operate welding machines and tools to join or repair metal components Inspect and test welds to verify quality, strength, and compliance with specifications Repair broken or damaged metal parts to restore functionality and integrity Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective gear to prevent injuries Preferred competencies and qualifications Previous experience as a welder (1–2 years preferred) Basic knowledge of welding tools and techniques
