Senior Frontend Developer

(React & Accessibility Specialist) Target Audience: Senior devs with a passion for UX and strict coding standards (WCAG). Job Title: Senior Frontend Developer – React (m/f/d) Location: Vienna, Austria (Hybrid) The Role As our Senior Frontend Engineer, you will own the "Student Experience." You will build complex, data-rich interfaces that must be accessible to all learners, including those with disabilities. This is a key requirement for our expansion into public schools (Phase 2). Key Responsibilities Core Development: Build performant Single Page Applications (SPA) using React , TypeScript , and Tailwind/SCSS .

Accessibility (A11y): Lead the implementation of WCAG 2.1 AA standards. Ensure full keyboard navigation and screen-reader compatibility.

State Management: Architect complex state flows (using Redux Toolkit or React Query) for real-time dashboards.

Mentorship: Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.

Requirements 5+ years of experience with React and modern JavaScript tooling.

Deep understanding of WCAG guidelines and inclusive design principles.

Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress) and build tools (Vite).

Salary Information Legal Disclaimer: We offer a salary starting at € 65,000 gross per year . The minimum annual salary according to the IT Collective Agreement (ST2) is approx. € 62,790. We guarantee overpayment based on experience.
