Responsibilities
- Conduct hearing assessments and other relevant audiological evaluations
- Assess clients’ hearing needs and recommend suitable rehabilitation solutions
- Fit, programme and dispense hearing aids and other assistive hearing devices
- Provide counselling, device orientation, troubleshooting and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and client records
- Manage hearing aid inventory and ensure equipment is properly maintained
- Support the smooth daily operations and upkeep of the hearing centre
- Build professional relationships with hospitals, ENT specialists, GPs and other healthcare partners
- Participate in team activities, professional events and outreach initiatives
- Provide support at other centres when required
Requirements
- AuD or Master’s Degree in Audiology preferred; candidates with a strong Bachelor’s Degree in Audiology will also be considered
- At least 2 years of experience in audiology and hearing aid fitting and dispensing
- Eligible for membership with the Society for Audiology Professionals Singapore (SAPS)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently while contributing effectively within a team
- Patient, service-oriented and comfortable supporting elderly clients
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin to support clients who communicate primarily in these languages
- Experience in tinnitus care, vestibular assessment, cochlear implants or earwax management would be an advantage
