Operation and Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Operation and Maintenance Engineer to ensure the efficient operation and upkeep of our water facilities in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining system reliability, optimizing performance, and implementing preventive maintenance strategies to support our mission of delivering clean and safe water.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of water treatment and distribution systems.
• Conduct regular inspections, troubleshoot equipment issues, and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs, upgrades, and installation of new equipment.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, operational data, and reports for management review.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and implement innovative solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in operation and maintenance within the water industry or similar sectors.
• Strong knowledge of water treatment processes, mechanical and electrical systems, and maintenance practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems and provide effective solutions.
• Familiarity with relevant local regulations and safety standards in Saudi Arabia.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
• Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergency call-outs as needed.
