Accounting Supervisor
- Oversee and manage the overall accounting, finance, and tax functions of the company to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Thai accounting standards and applicable laws and regulations.
- Supervise and review the overall cost structure and cost overview to support management decision-making, without being involved in daily operational cost accounting.
- Be responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing, including trial balance, profit and loss statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
- Oversee and control all tax matters to ensure compliance with the Thai Revenue Department’s regulations, including Value Added Tax (PP30/PP36), Withholding Tax (PND 1, 3, 53, 54), and Corporate Income Tax (PND 50/51).
- Take responsibility for supervising and monitoring compliance with BOI conditions in terms of accounting, taxation, and related documentation, including proper segregation of BOI and Non-BOI accounts.
- Prepare and submit BOI reports and e-Monitoring in accordance with the required timelines, as well as monitor BOI-related assets, raw materials, and incentive entitlements.
- Review and ensure consistency among accounting, tax, and BOI data to mitigate risks related to tax exposure, BOI privilege revocation, or audit findings.
- Prepare and submit financial reports to Headquarters (HQ) for financial consolidation purposes, including explaining differences between local financial statements, BOI accounts, and consolidated reports.
- Coordinate with HQ, external auditors, tax advisors, and relevant government authorities (such as BOI and the Thai Revenue Department).
- Supervise internal controls and ensure data readiness for statutory audits and BOI inspections.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. At least 7–10 years of experience in accounting, finance, and taxation, preferably in a manufacturing or BOI-promoted company. Strong knowledge of Thai accounting standards (TFRS / TFRS for NPAEs), Thai tax regulations, and BOI requirements. Experience in monthly and year-end closing, financial statement preparation, and audit coordination. Ability to review and analyze overall cost structures to support management decisions (cost overview level). Experience in BOI compliance, including BOI / Non-BOI account segregation, e-Monitoring, and BOI reporting. Good coordination and communication skills for working with HQ, auditors, tax advisors, and government authorities. Proficiency in accounting systems and MS Excel; experience with ERP systems is an advantage. Good command of English (Chinese language skills are an advantage). Detail-oriented, strong sense of responsibility, good integrity, and able to work independently under pressure.
