M&E Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities:

• Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of M&E works, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing and other building services packages.
• Prepare and review cost estimates, budgets, Bills of Quantities (BQ), tender documents and pricing for M&E works.
• Handle tendering and procurement activities, including sourcing quotations, evaluating subcontractor bids and negotiating commercial terms.
• Conduct measurement and valuation of M&E works, including progress claims, variations, and final accounts.
• Administer M&E subcontractor and supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, specifications and project timelines.
• Identify, evaluate and manage variations, claims, Extension of Time (EOT) and other contractual matters related to M&E works.
• Monitor project costs, prepare regular cost reports and forecasts, and advise the project team on commercial risks and cost control measures.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors and suppliers to resolve commercial issues and ensure the successful financial completion of M&E works.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering/ QS/ Civil & Structural or related field
