What you'll do
Prepare construction drawings, layouts, and exhibits in accordance with GDOT Plan Presentation Guide & Electronic Data Guidelines and/or SCDOT plan preparation guidelines
Perform geometric calculations and estimate construction quantities using CADD tools
Assist with the design and development of transportation improvement projects, including roadway and related infrastructure plans
Coordinate regularly with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to support project delivery
Produce and refine design files, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to project standards
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to support transportation projects
What you bring
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
3+ years of experience working on transportation design projects
EIT certification preferred
Strong working knowledge of MicroStation V8 and InRoads or GEOPAK
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
Ability to read engineering plans and perform basic calculations
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is a plus
