Structural Engineer
About the role
As a structural engineer at Talent 360, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and evaluating the structural integrity of buildings, foundations, and other structures, ensuring they meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards. You'll work closely with architects, civil engineers, and project management teams to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective structural solutions from design through construction.
Key responsibilities
Design and analyze structural systems, including foundations, frameworks, and load-bearing elements
Perform structural calculations and simulations to validate design safety, stability, and performance
Prepare structural drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
Ensure all designs comply with relevant structural codes and safety standards
Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and project management teams on integrated project designs
Review and evaluate construction materials, methods, and site conditions for structural suitability
Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor structural work during construction
Support procurement and evaluation of structural materials, equipment, and vendors
Identify and resolve structural issues or design conflicts during the project lifecycle
Stay current with industry standards, emerging technologies, and best practices in structural engineering
Requirements
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in structural engineering or civil engineering
Minimum 3 years of experience in structural engineering, design, or related technical roles
Proficiency in structural design/analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, or similar)
Strong understanding of structural codes and safety standards (e.g., ACI, AISC, IBC, or local equivalents)
Hands-on experience with structural design, analysis, and site evaluation
Experience working with cross-functional engineering and architectural teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred qualifications
Professional certification or license (e.g., PE, or local equivalents)
Experience with high-rise, industrial, or infrastructure projects
Background in seismic design, retrofitting, or advanced material analysis
Familiarity with project management processes and vendor coordination
