Site Engineer

Description

Dunes is seeking a highly skilled and motivated site engineer to join our team for our ongoing projects located in Sheikh Zayed City.

Key Responsibilities:

Site supervision: Direct, monitor, and manage daily site labor and subcontractors to ensure progress aligns with the project schedule.

Execution & quality control: Oversee structural (concrete) and finishing works, ensuring they strictly match shop drawings, technical specifications, and consultant requirements.

Quantity surveying: Conduct regular on-site quantity surveys and measurement verifications to review and approve subcontractor invoices.

Coordination: Liaise constantly with the technical office to resolve any drawing discrepancies promptly and prevent site delays.

HSE compliance: Strictly enforce health, safety, and environment (HSE) standards and regulations on-site.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil or architectural engineering.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of solid, proven experience in site execution (structural & finishing works).

Technical skills: Proficient in reading architectural and structural drawings, with strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.

Interpersonal skills: Strong leadership, firm personality, and excellent problem-solving skills to manage site challenges and communicate effectively with subcontractors and laborers.
