Tasks:

  • Assemble door panels, trusses or modular components to make prefabricated housing.
  • Read blueprints, written specifications and production drawings.
  • Reinforce assembled products with dowelling or other supports.
  • Inspect wood products for conformance to quality standards.
  • Mark defective parts or products for repair.

Equipment and machinery experience:

  • Overhead crane.
  • Power tools.
  • Small hand tool.
  • Pneumatic devices.
  • Precision measuring instrument.

Area of work experience:

  • Assembly line.
  • Truss manufacturing and building.
