Golang Backend Software Engineer

We’re looking for a Go Backend Software Engineer to help design, build, and operate backend services and infrastructure APIs for a large‑scale, sovereign cloud platform. You’ll work across cloud‑native distributed systems, Kubernetes, databases, and CI/CD tooling to ensure a secure, scalable, and highly available environment. Daily tasks

• Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Go.
• Continuously enhance the performance, reliability, and maintainability of existing systems.
• Design and implement APIs while enabling seamless communication across distributed services.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical decision-making to ensure high-quality solutions.

Requirements

Extensive hands-on experience with Go (Golang) development. Proven track record of building and maintaining high-performance, large-scale APIs or microservices . Strong knowledge of distributed architectures , concurrency, networking principles, and database concepts. Practical experience with Kubernetes , containerized environments, monitoring/observability solutions, and CI/CD pipelines . Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve performance, stability, and production-related issues . Good communication skills in English ; German language skills are an advantage. Nice to have: Familiarity with integrating AI-powered tools into everyday development processes.
