QA Engineer

Are you GAME to*JOIN US and be our new QA Engineer? SoftConstruct is on a search for a new player to join our team.**
We are looking for a QA Engineer to help test and maintain our web-mobile applications. In this role, you will write clear test cases, run manual and API tests, and track down bugs before features go live. You will work closely with our developers to review requirements and make sure each release is stable. If you have a sharp eye for detail and enjoy finding issues early, we would love to have you on the team.
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases to ensure software quality
- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications, identifying and documenting defects
- Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and define testing
strategies
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
- Report, track, and validate defects using issue-tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.)
- Verify bug fixes and ensure software stability before releases
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI
- Work closely with developers and DevOps teams to ensure smooth CI/CD processes
- Continuously improve QA processes, methodologies, and best practices
- Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices
- Experience in functional, regression, and integration testing
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Ability to write clear and structured test cases based on product requirements
- Knowledge of test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr, etc.) and bug-tracking systems (JIRA)
- Basic knowledge of API testing and database validation
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
