Responsibilities:
- Prepare method statements, safe work procedures, risk register, daily/weekly reports, tunnel progress reports and other tunnel related documentation
- Provide engineering supervision to bored tunnelling operation, including final ring selection and selection of key.
- Prepare and carry out presentation of tunnelling works prior to commencement of works
- Conduct daily site inspection and supervision of bored tunnelling works
- Supervision work on a TBM machine controlling the tunnel labour in excavation and ring build
- Make preparations for cutter-head intervention including documents for submission and site preparations
- Provide technical guidance for cross passage and pump sump construction
- Maintain site records of excavated volumes, grouting records and other construction work
- Maintain and monitor quality control and records
- Plan and monitor and track site progress, manpower mobilization and equipment deployment
- Ensure job safety analysis and site safety compliance
- Coordinate various subcontractors to ensure work runs smoothly
- Ensure safe work procedures and environmental control measures are implemented at the work site
- Liaise with authorities, consultants and subcontractors
- Any other adhoc task assigned by direct superior or Project Manager
