Plan machining processes by analysing engineering drawings to understand general dimensions and tolerances Program CNC machines by entering instructions, including zero and reference points, and setting tools and parameters accurately Operate and manage all CNC machine mechanisms to ensure proper function and output Verify machine settings and first-off parts by measuring and comparing them against engineering drawings for quality assurance Maintain safe operation and handling of CNC machines at all times to prevent accidents and ensure workplace safety Perform preventive maintenance on CNC machines to sustain optimal performance and reduce downtime
