We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to help deliver an exceptional employee experience across a growing population of engineering and technical professionals. As a key member of the People & Culture team, this role is responsible for supporting onboarding, employee communications, HR operations, and employee lifecycle administration while helping ensure consistent, engaging, and compliant experience for employees across the organization.

This role requires a highly organized, professional, and detail-oriented HR practitioner who can operate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-state environment with a strong focus on operational excellence, compliance, and communication. The HR Generalist will lead new employee orientations, prepare employee documentation and communications, support HR systems and processes, and serve as a trusted resource for employees throughout their lifecycle with the company.

This position plays an important role in helping the organization build scalable people practices, improve process discipline, and strengthen employee and manager communication.

Due to the nature of this role, all candidates must be U.S. citizens or U.S. Persons.

This role is hybrid. All candidates must reside in Cincinnati, OH.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Onboarding & Orientation

Lead and facilitate new employee orientation programs for employees across multiple locations and states

Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure a positive, welcoming, and compliant employee experience

Prepare onboarding materials, presentations, and communication tools

Partner with managers, Talent Acquisition, IT, Payroll, and other teams to ensure onboarding readiness

Support onboarding workflows and documentation within HR systems

Employee & Manager Communications

Create, edit, and maintain HR communications across multiple channels

Develop and maintain communication templates, toolkits, and HR resource materials

Draft employee letters and HR-related documentation

Support communication planning and execution for HR programs, meetings, and organizational updates

HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle Support

Support employee lifecycle activities, including new hires, job changes, promotions, transfers, and offboarding

Ensure HR records and employee documentation are complete and accurate

Assist with HR process documentation and standard operating procedures

Support compliance-related documentation and tracking requirements

Partner with Payroll and HR to ensure data accuracy and timely processing

HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle Support

Monitor and respond to HR support tickets, employee inquiries, and service requests in a timely and professional manner

Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions

Triage and route inquiries to the appropriate HR, Payroll, Benefits, or leadership team members as needed

Track ticket status, resolution timelines, and recurring themes to improve employee experience and process effectiveness

Maintain accurate documentation of employee requests and resolutions

Support the development of self-service tools, FAQs, and knowledge resources to reduce repetitive inquiries

Help establish consistent service standards and response expectations for HR support activities

HR Meetings & Event Coordination

Prepare materials and logistics for HR-led meetings and employee sessions

Coordinate meeting setup and technology support using Microsoft Teams and related platforms

Manage meeting invitations, recordings, attendance tracking, and follow-up communications

Assist with presentations, employee engagement activities, and HR events

Compliance & Operational Excellence

Support compliance with multi-state employment requirements and company policies

Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling employee information

Help improve HR process consistency, documentation, and operational discipline

Identify opportunities to improve communication, efficiency, and employee experience

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

PHR certification

5+ years of experience in Human Resources, HR Operations, People Operations, or a related HR function

Experience supporting employee onboarding, employee lifecycle administration, and HR operations processes

Experience working in a multi-state employment environment

Working knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance requirements, and confidentiality standards

Experience utilizing HRIS platforms (ADP experience preferred)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growing organization

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams

Ability to work in a hybrid environment with regular onsite presence in Cincinnati, Ohio

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience facilitating new hire orientation and onboarding programs

Experience managing employee inquiries, HR ticketing systems, or shared services support functions

Experience supporting remote, hybrid, and onsite employee populations

Experience creating HR communications, templates, SOPs, and employee-facing documentation

Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS platforms

Experience with Greenhouse or other applicant tracking/onboarding systems

Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, defense, technology, or other highly technical workforces

Experience working in a rapidly growing or evolving organization

Familiarity with SharePoint and employee communication platforms

Full compensation package is based on candidate experience and certifications

Pay Ranges $72,500 — $86,000 USD
