Safety Officer

Responsibilities:

Conduct site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.

Ensure compliance with HSE policies, construction standards, and safety regulations.

Monitor workers and enforce safe work practices on construction sites.

Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and basic safety training.

Investigate incidents and prepare safety reports.

Maintain proper safety documentation and records.

Requirements:

Minimum of an HND in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.

Must have proven experience working on construction sites.

Good knowledge of construction safety practices and HSE regulations.

Relevant HSE certifications will be an added advantage.

Strong communication, observation, and reporting skills.

Must be proactive, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively on-site.
