Technical Product Owner

• Technical Documentation: Author detailed Functional Specification Documents (FSD), Software Requirements Specifications (SRS), and User Stories with comprehensive acceptance criteria.
• Process Flow Mapping: Design E2E system workflows using Sequence Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), and Activity Diagrams to map out interactions between the mobile app, middleware/API gateway, core banking systems, and backoffice web apps.
• API & Integration Specification: Define RESTful API contracts (JSON payloads, request/response structures, error codes) for both internal microservices and external third-party integrations (e.g., PromptPay, NDID, credit scoring APIs).
• Define NFRs: Systematically capture and document NFRs for every feature, specifically targeting scalability, high availability, and performance under load (e.g., handling high Transactions Per Second [TPS] during Thai payday and double-day spikes).
• Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA and Performance Testing teams to define load testing scenarios, latency SLAs (e.g., API response < 200ms), and disaster recovery objectives (RTO/RPO).
• Monitoring & Alerts: Define technical telemetry requirements so that engineering and support teams can monitor system health, app crash rates, and API timeout rates effectively.
• Internal Tools: Design specifications for the Backoffice Web Application to ensure the customer support and operations teams can effectively manage customer disputes, transaction inquiries, and maker-checker approval workflows.
• Data Management: Ensure backoffice systems display accurate, real-time data from the backend without compromising system performance or customer privacy.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field. 4-7 years of experience as a Technical BA, System Analyst, or Backend-focused Product Owner. Proven experience in Banking or Fintech, specifically working on mobile banking applications, payment gateways, or core banking integrations. Strong proficiency in writing detailed technical documentation (FSD, API Specs, Data Dictionaries). Ability to read and understand technical artifacts (JSON, Swagger/OpenAPI, XML) and write basic SQL queries for data investigation. Proficiency with diagramming tools (Mermaid, Draw.io, Visio) to create technical flowcharts (UML, Sequence, ERD). Deep understanding of modern software architecture, including Microservices, Cloud-native principles (AWS/GCP/Azure), and synchronous vs. asynchronous processing. Bilingual: Fluent in Thai and proficient in English for technical documentation and cross-functional communication. Analytical Mindset: Exceptional ability to anticipate edge cases, system failure points, and exception handling scenarios before development begins. Bridge Builder: Ability to have deep technical debates with software architects while clearly explaining system constraints to business stakeholders.
