Join our team as a Quality Inspector!

The CNC Quality Inspector is responsible to ensure parts/order fulfillment for a specific order are consistent with customer requirements before they are sent to shipping.  This opening is for the Weekday Nights (WDN).

Shift: M-TH 5PM-3AM

What you will do Conduct X,Y,Z measurements

Conduct visual cosmetic inspection

Conduct part count verification

Inspect completed order for packaging accuracy

Inspect completed orders for fulfillment accuracy

Enter process information into computer

Identify quality issues relating to manufacturing processes and order fulfillment

Interface with shift supervisor and/ or quality control staff regarding order quantities and part quality

Coordinate corrective action as necessary with department supervisor and co-workers

Determine if an order is shippable

Transport finished parts to shipping area

Communicate with the CQRs as needed

Provide feedback to team leads / Supervisors, any necessary training needs to the Production floor

Adhere to all quality and safety standards within the department

Maintain clean and organized work area with emphasis on safety, quality, efficiency, and utilization

Continually seek to improve work processes and individual performance

Adhere to all company policies and operational procedures

Perform additional tasks as assigned

What it takes Strong attention to detail is required

Able to comprehend and follow printed and computer-screen instructions, and direction from supervisors or technical leads

Good written and oral communication skills

Able to use measuring instruments such as scales, and calipers

Able to work safely with sharp tools/objects, such as but not limited to, hobby knives, utility knives, diagonal-cutting pliers

Able to use a computer and calculator

Able to read and write in English, and do basic arithmetic

Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment

Must be punctual and have good attendance

High school diploma or equivalent degree

Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
