The Quantity Surveyor Engineer is responsible for managing all costs related to construction and engineering projects. This includes preparing quantity take-offs, cost estimates, budgets, and ensuring projects are completed within approved financial limits. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).

Estimate project costs and prepare cost plans and budgets.

Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents.

Participate in tendering processes, including cost comparison and evaluation.

Monitor project costs and control variations and claims.

Prepare interim payment certificates and final accounts.

Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and site engineers.

Analyze subcontractor quotations and negotiate prices when required.

Track project progress and report cost deviations.

Ensure compliance with contractual and company cost control procedures.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

Good knowledge of Quantity Surveying, Cost Estimation, and BOQs.

Experience in preparing take-offs, cost analysis, and tender documents is preferred.

Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.

Familiarity with AutoCAD and quantity take-off tools is an advantage.

Strong analytical and numerical skills.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Attention to detail and accuracy in calculations.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
