HMO Officer

Responsibilities:

Manage HMO-related activities and healthcare service coordination. Process, review, and monitor medical claims for accuracy and compliance. Liaise with hospitals, clinics, and healthcare providers. Handle client inquiries and provide timely support regarding HMO services. Verify claims documentation and ensure proper authorization processes. Maintain accurate records of claims, approvals, and healthcare transactions. Follow up on outstanding claims and resolve issues promptly. Prepare reports on HMO activities and claims performance. Ensure compliance with healthcare insurance policies and procedures. Support efficient communication between clients, providers, and management.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree (BSc or BA) in Healthcare Administration, Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, or related discipline. Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an HMO Officer, Claims Officer, or related healthcare insurance role. Good understanding of HMO operations and medical claims processes. Strong communication and customer service skills. Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping ability. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Have proven experience working with HMOs, hospitals, clinics, or healthcare insurance organizations.

Possess strong knowledge of claims processing and healthcare documentation.

Reside around Oko-Oba, Ikeja, Ogba, Agege, Lekki, Ajah, or nearby locations.

Can work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Remuneration: NGN 150,000 – 200,000 Monthly
