Paraprofessional (RBT) – Long Island, NY (Flexible Schedule)

Location/Hours:

Mastic, NY: Monday to Friday; 3:00pm to 6:00pm

Pay : $25.00 – $30.00 per hour Schedule : Part-time & Full-time | In-home ABA Therapy | After-school & Weekend Hours Available

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our growing clinical team across Long Island, NY.

Position Overview ;

As an RBT, you will deliver direct ABA therapy services to children in home, school, and community-based settings under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is ideal for candidates passionate about behavioral health, autism services, and early intervention, with opportunities for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities ;

Implement individualized ABA therapy programs under BCBA supervision

Follow and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) with consistency

Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in in-home, school-based, or center-based settings

Perform accurate data collection, session notes, and documentation using the Rethink platform (within 24 hours)

Track client progress through ABA data collection and behavior tracking systems

Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and supervising BCBAs

Participate in onboarding, training, and ongoing RBT supervision sessions

Qualifications ;

Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (required)

Minimum of 6 months experience working with children with autism (ASD) or developmental disabilities

Knowledge of ABA therapy techniques, behavior intervention, and data collection methods

Strong communication, interpersonal, and client engagement skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary ABA team

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
