DevOps Engineer (Software engineer) Collibra

Role purpose: Build, operate, and improve reliable CI/CD and cloud infrastructure to support scalable software delivery for Collibra platforms and services.

Core responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment workflows.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and environments using Infrastructure as Code, ensuring repeatability and compliance.
• Monitor system health, performance, and availability; implement alerting, logging, and incident response practices.
• Improve deployment reliability through automation, standardization, and release engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with software engineering and security teams to embed DevSecOps controls across the delivery lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement.

Required skills

• DevOps fundamentals: CI/CD, automation, observability, and SRE-style operational practices.
• Cloud platforms: Experience operating workloads in major cloud environments and managing networking, compute, and storage.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent tooling.
• Containers: Docker and Kubernetes ecosystem knowledge.
• Scripting: Proficiency in Bash, Python, or similar for automation.
• Collaboration: Strong communication, documentation, and cross-functional delivery skills.
