*Duties*

  • Assist the Store Manager in supervising daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
  • Oversee merchandising efforts to ensure attractive displays, proper pricing, and stock availability
  • Manage payroll, scheduling, and staffing needs to optimize store coverage and productivity
  • Conduct recruiting efforts by interviewing candidates and participating in onboarding processes
  • Handle cash register operations, cashiering duties, and cash handling procedures with accuracy and integrity
  • Maintain organized records of sales transactions, inventory levels, purchasing activities, and bookkeeping documentation
  • Support marketing initiatives by promoting promotions and engaging with customers to enhance store visibility
  • Provide training and development opportunities for team members to improve their skills in sales management, product knowledge, and customer service

*Qualifications*

  • Proven supervising or leadership experience within retail or a similar customer-focused environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and engage customers effectively
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases
  • Demonstrated proficiency in retail sales, merchandising, POS (Point of Sale) systems, and pricing strategies
  • Experience with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding new employees, and conducting training sessions
  • Knowledge of payroll processing, budgeting, cash handling, and basic bookkeeping practices
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong negotiation skills for vendor relations and purchasing decisions
  • Ability to handle administrative tasks with accuracy using math skills for sales reporting and inventory management
  • Customer service orientation with phone etiquette skills to ensure positive interactions both in person and over the phone
