We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Buyer to join our dynamic team in the dredging and marine industry. The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing and procuring materials, equipment, and services essential for our operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery to support project success. Responsibilities: - Source and purchase materials, equipment, and services required for dredging and marine projects. - Evaluate supplier offers and negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules to achieve the best value. - Maintain and develop positive relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure reliable supply chains. - Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with project teams to forecast procurement needs. - Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations during the purchasing process. - Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and maintain accurate procurement records. - Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and logistics to support project timelines and budgetary constraints.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field. - Proven experience as a Buyer in the dredging, marine, or heavy engineering industry. - Strong negotiation and supplier management skills. - Excellent understanding of procurement processes and regulations in the marine sector. - Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously. - Proficient in MS Office and procurement software. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational abilities. - Willingness to travel as required to meet suppliers and project sites.
