Science Teacher (Placement - Bangka)

Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and assess lessons in accordance with the Pearson Curriculum
• Delivering clear and engaging lessons, using various teaching methods and technologies to help students understand complex scientific concepts.
• Creating and maintaining a positive learning environment by managing classroom behavior, encouraging student participation, and fostering a respectful and collaborative atmosphere.
• Working together with other teachers, staff, and school leaders to enhance the overall learning experience and integrate interdisciplinary approaches to education.
• Communicating with parents and guardians about their student's progress, areas of strength, and areas that need improvement in Science
• Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development program

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Physics, Chemistry or Science Education
• Teaching experience of at least 1 year in an international or national plus school
• Mastering international curriculum at least IGCSE standard/As Level (Cambridge or Pearson Edexcel)
• Proficiency in English at academic purpose level
• Understand the use of digital technology related to the field
