Senior Full Stack Engineer

Job description

The senior fullstack engineer will be responsible to design and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance software systems. In this role, you will participate in technical decision-making and mentoring other teams, while contributing to our platform's architecture and development. Experience with AWS and cloud-native solutions is highly preferred and will be a significant advantage in this position.

Architect, design, build and maintain frontend applications using Vue.js

Develop robust, scalable backend systems using Node.js and NestJS

Design and optimize RESTful APIs to ensure high performance, security, and reliability

Communicate regularly with the engineering manager, QA teams, and other developers regarding progress on the technology roadmap

Drive technical initiatives and mentor team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation

Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, debugging, testing, and documentation workflows

Conduct code reviews

Requirements

4+ years in software development with a focus on full stack roles

BS in Engineering or Computer Science

Proficiency in web frontend development with Vue.js and strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript

Proficiency in Node.js for building scalable and secure backend services

Proficiency in designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines

Demonstrated experience in using AI tools: GitHub Copilot, Amazon Kiro, prompt engineering, AI-augmented testing

Familiarity with AWS services is preferred. Experience with other cloud platforms and cloud-native architectures is a plus

Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases
