Program Assistant (Template Technician)
Your tasks
- Monitors supply of and demand for health care services.
- Develops plans to adapt or refine scheduling processes in order to meet or exceed demand.
- Monitors the schedules of the various clinics to avoid conflicts
- Prepares all programming, manages the system, and gathers data as necessary
- Trains new employees in all aspects of template and schedule development and management.
Requirements

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) managing appointment templates for health care providers and technicians to ensure proper accountability of workload; 2) reviewing patient appointment procedures carried out by medical clerks to ensure consistency and quality of services are in compliance with procedures and operating policies. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06)
