Maxwell Ship Management is looking for a qualified and experienced Technical Superintendent to join our team.
💰 Salary Range: SGD 8,500 – SGD 10500
📌 Roles & Responsibilities:
- Oversee the technical operations of assigned tanker vessels
- Manage daily maintenance, repair activities, survey schedules, and docking operations
- Maintain updated class records and coordinate with Classification Societies, Suppliers, and Contractors
- Ensure compliance with ISM, ISPS, and MLC requirements
- Attend and coordinate vessel inspections, statutory surveys, and oil major inspections
- Carry out onboard technical inspections and prepare technical reports
- Assist Safety Department in incident/accident investigations and reporting
- Perform additional duties assigned by Technical Manager
📌 Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years sea-going experience as Chief Engineer onboard tanker vessels
- Shore experience as Technical Superintendent will be an added advantage
- Holding valid Class 1 Certificate of Competency (COC)
- Strong troubleshooting, technical problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Independent, resourceful, and able to work under pressure
- Willing to travel overseas on short notice when required
