Occupational Therapist – Adults Social Care (Independence & Access)
Liquid Personnel is recruiting for an Occupational Therapist to join its clients Independence & Access team , supporting residents to maintain independence and safely access their homes and communities.
This role sits within Adult Social Care, focusing on assessment, equipment, and adaptations , helping reduce reliance on long-term care and promoting independence.
What will your responsibilities be?
Carry out strengths-based Care Act assessments
Provide recommendations for equipment and minor/major adaptations (DFG)
Support individuals to remain independent at home
Undertake functional and environmental assessments
Complete moving & handling risk assessments
Work closely with housing, health, and social care partners
Maintain accurate case records and documentation
Contribute to waiting list reduction and service efficiency

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have,
Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy
HCPC Registration
Experience within Adults Social Care
Knowledge of:
Care Act 2014
Equipment & adaptations
Moving & Handling
Strong assessment and case management skills
Desirable:
Experience within a Local Authority OT service
Knowledge of DFG / adaptations pathway
Experience in community-based OT work
