Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Adults & Paediatrics Location: Islington - Hybrid, minimum 2 days/week in office/borough Pay Rate: £38 per hour - negotiable depending on experience Contract: Full-time preferred | Part-time considered (min. 21 hours over 3 days or 3 long days totalling 25 hours) Duration: Long-term – funding agreed for at least 12 months

Job Description:

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an Occupational Therapist for its client’s Adults & Paediatrics team based in Islington.

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced practitioner to support both Adult Social Care (60–70%) and Paediatric cases (30–40%). This is a hybrid role offering a manageable caseload and the benefit of long-term funding.

What will your responsibilities be?

Conduct assessments for major adaptations and manual handling in adult cases

Complete paediatric assessments for children with challenging behaviours, including recommendations for adaptations

Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across social care and NHS settings

Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual needs

Maintain accurate records and contribute to statutory reporting

Manage a caseload of 2–3 cases per week, adjusted based on complexity

Participate in service development and contribute to best practice

Additional Info:

Role may be upgraded to Senior OT depending on experience, with rate adjusted accordingly

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have,

Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy

HCPC registration

Minimum 3 years’ experience in social care as an Occupational Therapist

Proven experience in:

Manual handling and major adaptations

Working with children with behavioural challenges

Navigating both adult and paediatric social care systems

Strong communication and organisational skills

Ability to work independently and within a team

Willingness to work hybrid with minimum 2 days/week in borough
