Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Snowmaker to join our winter operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality snow surfaces to ensure optimal conditions for winter recreational activities. This role requires physical stamina, mechanical aptitude, and a proactive approach to snow production and landscape maintenance. The Snowmaker will work primarily outdoors in varying weather conditions, contributing to the safety and enjoyment of our guests.

Responsibilities

• Operate snowmaking equipment efficiently to produce consistent snow coverage across designated areas.
• Help maintain snowmaking system, hoses, and equipment.
• Monitor weather conditions to maximize snow production.
• Use hand tools and power tools for equipment repairs, adjustments, and general maintenance.
• Perform routine equipment checks and follow all safety procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to plan and execute snow production schedules effectively.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in cold conditions.
• Comfortable working night shifts. Weekends, and holidays are required.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures in outdoor winter environments.
• Mechanical aptitude and equipment operation are an asset.
• Previous snowmaking experience is an asset, but not required. Training is provided.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving and equipment troubleshooting

What we offer

Pay: $21.00-$22.50 per hour
