The Kootenay Co-op is looking for 2 x Produce Clerks to join our crew. If you enjoy working in a supportive team to create stunning displays of organic produce and provide excellent customer service, apply now! We are currently recruiting for one part-time position (12-18 hours per week) and one full-time position (32-40 hours per week). Evening and weekend availability is required.
*SKILLS + QUALIFICATIONS *
Required:
- Knowledge of produce handling and storage.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred:
- Experience in retail grocery or co-op environment.
- FoodSafe Level 1 certification.
*DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES *
- Stock produce to shelves and maintain attractive displays.
- Ensure proper rotation and freshness of all produce items.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or overages.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of produce department.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with all internal and external health and safety regulations, as well as employee policies and procedures.
- Other duties as required.

Rate: $18.25 ? 20.00 per hour depending on experience.
