Quality Controller

Purpose of the Role: To manage all aspects of quality within the Business competently and cost effectively. Ensuring all products is packed to customer specifications and the correct quality standards are applied.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all products are packed and handled to meet customer specifications quality check and audit products.
• Accurately assessing and completing Inbound checks / documentation on intake of product.
• Maintain quality monitoring in production area, ensuring that information is recorded in KBS accurately.
• Re Inspections for resident deliveries - change RAG.
• Communicate issues on quality - take out in excess of expectation, unexpected issues, replacement stock to commercial team.
• Monitoring of Class 2 and waste pullouts across packhouse, reallocation of stock to customer specs - All pallets to be positive released from Production and Warehouse.
• To assist with temperature checks and calibration.
• To support training and coaching third party packing facilities with quality standards to meet customer specifications.
• Write, Study and send Quality Control of reports to growers - Follow-up evolution of defect in weekly base for each grower and ensure implementation of corrective actions - Daily check of stock and communicate fruit condition to Sales and Logistics Department - All Pallets to be positive released from prior to despatch - Respect the food safety policy and procedures defined by management and Technical Department - Listening to customers, and ensuring that all th...
