Mechanical Engineer

KBR is looking for a mechanical engineer who will, under direct supervision, independently evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications. With additional experience within one functional area, the engineer assists in the design of larger and more complex assignments which involve conventional types of plans, investigations, and surveys with relatively few complex features for which there are precedents.

Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability, or operations. Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in engineering and a minimum of 2 years related experience, with typical experience ranging from 3 to 7 years.
