Sr. Software Engineer
Accountabilities: The Sr. Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving backend systems while collaborating with engineering and business teams. Key responsibilities include:
Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable APIs using Python and Java-based technologies.
Build and continuously improve backend services that support core product functionality and user experiences.
Collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, and specialized teams to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
Develop and maintain scalable, multi-tenant web applications with strong reliability and performance standards.
Apply software engineering best practices throughout the full development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
Ensure applications meet high standards for quality, security, maintainability, and scalability.
Contribute to technical discussions, architecture decisions, and continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and engineering workflows.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is an experienced software engineer with strong backend development expertise and a passion for building impactful technology solutions. Required qualifications include:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
6+ years of experience developing enterprise or consumer-facing web applications.
Strong experience with Python or Java/Spring-based development environments.
Experience designing, building, and deploying scalable REST APIs.
Experience developing multi-tenant web applications and distributed systems.
Strong understanding of software development best practices, testing methodologies, and secure coding principles.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
Highly proactive mindset with the ability to independently manage priorities and drive solutions forward.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex technical challenges.
