Accountabilities: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of platform engineers by creating a culture of trust, ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement. Guide the design, implementation, management, and monitoring of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and platform engineering solutions. Act as a technical multiplier by helping engineers make sound architectural decisions, estimate projects accurately, and deliver high-quality outcomes. Partner with product and engineering leaders to define technical roadmaps, prioritize initiatives, and align platform capabilities with organizational goals. Establish and improve engineering processes, including code reviews, deployment practices, automation standards, and cloud platform management. Support troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical challenges while ensuring system reliability and scalability. Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and operational best practices to identify opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate technical concepts clearly and influence decisions across the organization. Requirements: 7+ years of professional experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, DevSecOps, or a related engineering discipline. 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams or serving as a technical team lead. Strong hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and platform technologies such as AWS, Terraform, Docker, and monitoring solutions like DataDog. Proven experience designing and managing scalable infrastructure supporting web applications or complex technology environments. Experience creating technical roadmaps, requirements documents, and implementation strategies. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong understanding of CI/CD practices, cloud platform management, infrastructure automation, and engineering workflows. Experience debugging complex technical issues and driving practical solutions. Strong leadership, mentoring, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to influence teams across different functions. Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt quickly to changing business needs, and operate effectively in an evolving environment. Strategic mindset with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Experience hiring and scaling engineering teams is a plus. Familiarity with data engineering, application architecture, or ML operations is a plus. Passion for technology-driven solutions and sustainability-focused initiatives.
