Production Engineer

Role Description We are seeking a Production Engineer to join our production team in a full-time, on-site role. The ideal candidate must have previous experience in the food manufacturing industry and will be responsible for overseeing daily production operations, ensuring efficient workflow across production lines, achieving production targets, and driving continuous improvement in productivity, quality, and cost efficiency within a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Role Responsibilities

Supervise and control daily production operations across assigned production lines. Ensure achievement of production targets in terms of output, quality, and efficiency. Monitor production processes to minimize downtime, waste, and defects. Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations. Optimize manpower allocation and shift performance to maximize productivity. Follow up on raw materials availability and ensure proper usage during production. Implement and support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards during production. Prepare daily production reports and track KPIs (efficiency, yield, losses, etc.). Identify operational issues and propose corrective and preventive actions. Support implementation of new production processes, equipment, or product lines.

Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Science (Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry), or any related field.

1–3 years of production experience in the food manufacturing industry (Food Industry experience is mandatory).

Strong understanding of production processes, line balancing, and efficiency improvement.

Good knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.

Good leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.

Proficiency in reporting and basic production KPIs tracking.
