You will take ownership of your own product line throughout its entire lifecycle – from qualification and reliability testing to technical documentation and customer support.

Innolume was among the first companies to successfully commercialize quantum-dot semiconductor devices. With our two in-house MBE reactors and our expertise in quantum-well and quantum-dot laser technology, we are at the forefront of photonics innovation. Your tasks

• Ownership of an assigned product line and a detailed understanding of its materials, components, specifications, performance and applications
• Planning, coordination and execution of product qualification and reliability testing, including evaluation of results and preparation of qualification reports
• Analysis of measurement and production data to assess product performance, investigate deviations and support improvements
• Coordination of the initial release of new materials and products into production
• Creation and maintenance of technical product documentation, including specifications, bills of materials (BOMs), bills of process (BOPs) and release records
• Creation and maintenance of part numbers as well as product and material master data, ensuring accuracy, consistency and traceability
• Maintenance of product line information, including material classifications and product variants
• Cross-departmental coordination of technical product changes, ensuring complete and up-to-date documentation and product information
• Gradual takeover of technical support for our Sales team and customers, including clarifying requirements and preparing product data and analyses

Requirements

If you enjoy understanding a product down to the smallest detail and following issues through to resolution, we look forward to getting to know you.

• Technical background in photonics, gained through education or relevant professional experience
• Familiarity with semiconductor lasers, optoelectronic components or related photonic products
• Experience in product characterisation, qualification, reliability testing or measurement data analysis
• Confident use of appropriate analytical tools to evaluate measurement and production data
• Strong attention to detail and a genuine interest in how every material, component and process step affects the final product
• A strong sense of ownership and the drive to investigate discrepancies thoroughly and follow issues through to resolution
• Careful handling of technical documentation and data
• Independent, systematic working style and effective coordination across departments
• Ability to explain technical findings clearly to colleagues and customers
• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken

Nice to Have

• Experience in product line management, product engineering, qualification or a similar technical role
• Experience with MES/ERP systems
