Talencia is looking for an experienced Data Analyst for one of his clients. Location: Brussels Start Date: ASAP Duration: 6 months + (till end of 2027) Language: English + French or Dutch Homeworking: Partially remote As a Senior Data Analyst, you will join our data department within a dynamic banking environment. You will serve as the crucial bridge between complex data and strategic business decisions. This role demands not only technical excellence but also a proactive mindset and outstanding communication skills to effectively collaborate with various business units.

Responsibilities

• Data Modeling & Analysis: Design, optimize, and maintain relational and dimensional data models tailored to banking requirements.
• Data Extraction & Manipulation: Write flawless, complex SQL queries to extract, clean, and analyze large volumes of financial and customer data.
• Business Intelligence: Translate business requirements into clear, impactful, and actionable dashboards for management and operational teams.
• Collaboration & Storytelling: Present data insights in a simplified, compelling manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience: Senior profile (5-7+ years of experience) with a strong, mandatory background in the banking sector.
• Technical Skills: expert-level SQL skills are required.
• Deep understanding of data modeling (relational and dimensional / star and snowflake schemas).
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills. We are looking for an outgoing, dynamic, and expressive professional who thrives in a collaborative environment (not an introvert).
• Languages: Fluent in English, combined with either French or Dutch.
