Platform Engineer - AI & Agentic Platform (Azure) Important Info 📍 Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium - Hybrid 📅 Start: ASAP 📆 Contract: Initial 6 months, with possible extension 🏠 Onsite: Approx. 2 days/week 🌍 Language: English mandatory; French/Dutch is a plus Context We are looking for a Platform Engineer to help shape and evolve an enterprise AI platform built on Azure AI Foundry and related Azure services. This is a hands-on role combining Platform Engineering, Cloud, DevOps and Solution Architecture, with strong collaboration across Security, Integration and Enterprise Architecture teams. Responsibilities

• Own and coordinate the technical architecture of the AI platform.
• Translate platform needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Explore new Azure AI capabilities and build PoCs/prototypes.
• Define architecture, integration patterns, networking and technical decisions.
• Coordinate implementation across Cloud, Security, DevOps and Integration teams.
• Support CI/CD, automation, developer tooling and platform improvements.
• Manage the technical backlog and help remove cross-team blockers.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Solid background in Cloud, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure or DevOps.
• Good knowledge of Azure networking, Entra ID and Identity & Access Management.
• Experience with Terraform and/or Bicep.
• CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions.
• Understanding of API Management, enterprise cloud environments and DevOps practices.
• Scripting experience with Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, autonomous and comfortable working across multiple technical teams.

• Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI or Azure AI Search
• Azure API Management
• Databricks or Boomi
• AI/LLM platform experience
• Architecture Decision Records or Enterprise Architecture exposure
• AWS/GCP background with the ability to transition quickly to Azure

Experience: Typically 5+ years, though strong candidates with 3-5 years of relevant cloud/infrastructure experience may also be considered. -
