Chef De Partie

Apache Pizza, a busy and growing takeaway and pizzeria located in Kinsale, Co. Cork, is looking for an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated chef who excels in preparing pizzas and thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes, such as Curry, grill pizza, and traditional takeaway meals.
• Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
• Take responsibility for your section of the kitchen and assist others during peak times
• Support stock control, inventory checks, and daily prep.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff when needed.

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role (Chef de Partie or equivalent)
• Strong skills in preparing food, especially pizza-making and takeaway meals.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety protocols
• Reliable, team-oriented, and proactive with a positive attitude
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

What We Offer:

• Annual Salary: €36,605 gross
• Hourly Equivalent: Approx. €17.58 /hour (based on 39 hours/week).
