Civil Infrastructure and Projects Engineer
Job Purpose The Project & Facility Engineer is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of engineering and capital projects while ensuring the effective maintenance and management of company facilities and infrastructure. The role ensures that projects and facility operations are executed safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and functionality. Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Execution
Support the development of project scope, technical requirements, budgets, and schedules.
Review engineering drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
Coordinate project activities with internal departments and external contractors.
Monitor project progress and ensure work is executed according to approved scope, timelines, and quality standards.
Support installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment and infrastructure works.
- Facility Maintenance and Infrastructure Management
Oversee maintenance activities for company buildings and infrastructure including civil works, painting, and finishing.
Ensure facilities are maintained to high standards of safety, functionality, and appearance.
Monitor the condition of buildings and infrastructure and propose improvement or renovation plans when needed.
Plan and schedule preventive maintenance activities for facilities and infrastructure.
- Technical Supervision and Contractor Management
Supervise and support technicians responsible for plumbing, welding, civil works, and general maintenance activities.
Ensure timely execution of corrective maintenance when issues arise.
Monitor team performance and provide technical guidance and support.
Supervise contractors during execution to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.
- Budget Control and Reporting
Support preparation and management of CapEx budgets.
Maintain maintenance logs, inspection records, and contractor performance documentation.
Prepare progress reports on projects and facility maintenance activities.
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering .
2–3 years of experience in civil projects, facility management, construction, or maintenance.
Experience in project planning, execution, and site management .
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, layouts, and technical specifications .
Basic experience in CapEx projects, budgeting, and project scheduling .
Ability to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with quality, safety, scope, and timelines .
Experience coordinating with technicians, contractors and internal departments .
Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and reporting skills .
