Requirements:

Experience: 1-2 years of experience in Manufacturing/Production and/or Food/Beverage or related industry is preferred.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Must be 21 years or older

Ability to read the English language

Available to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends & holidays

Familiarity with ERP System (preferred)

Job Description:

At GT’s Living Foods, our Fill/Pack Mixers (I) ensure that every batch of Kombucha is handcrafted with the highest quality ingredients to make the product our consumers know and love. In addition to occasionally performing the responsibilities of a Fill/Pack Mixing Assistant in alignment with business needs, Fill/Pack Mixers (I) are responsible for understanding the formulaic composition of our products and incorporating all ingredients accordingly.

Essential Duties:

Release and initiate production order, including keg materials, physically and systematically

Utilize electrical panel to perform mixing of necessary ingredients

Assemble and inspect components of mixing equipment to ensure equipment is ready for use

Coordinate with other internal departments to confirm and communicate the production schedule to Fill/Pack Mixing Assistants

Reference production schedule to create a list of necessary ingredients, and validate picking list prior to providing to Fill/Pack Mixing Assistants

Manually and systematically verify that the ingredients and labels collected and consumed correspond with the production schedule, including variances

Documentation of pH, Brix, color and taste of each batch

Perform routine cleanings of mixing equipment

Report any issues regarding equipment malfunction, system errors, and downtime to management

Ensure cleanliness of work area to maintain a safe work environment

Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge of basic arithmetic including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Ability to promptly respond to issues and escalate them to the appropriate party

Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced/dynamic environment

Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Ability to closely follow instructions/process

Demonstrate teamwork as well as the ability to work independently

Strong attention to detail, including the ability to produce accurate and consistent data

Physical Duties and Requirements:

Involves frequent movement around the warehouse near moving mechanical parts and electrical equipment

Constant lifting and transportation of empty boxes to case packers

Frequent transportation of 45 lb. containers of ingredients to be lifted (4 feet) and poured into mixing kettles

Frequent and repetitive twisting/reaching motions to package finished product into boxes to be moved back onto the production line

Frequent lifting of boxes of clean bottles/finished product (up to 25 lbs.) to be unloaded and placed onto the production line/re-pack table

Frequent and repetitive bending/twisting/lifting (4 feet) to palletize packaged boxes (up to 40 lbs.) • Occasional stacking of empty pallets (up to 70 lbs.) with a partner

Employees are required to stand for the majority of their work shift

The noise level in this work environment is constantly above 84 dB and requires earplugs to be worn

Job Details:

Work Hours: Monday thru Friday, Overtime as needed.

Work Attire: Use good judgment, keeping in mind the nature of their work, their own safety and the safety of others, and their need to interact with the public.

Pay Range: $18.15/hr - $18.90/hr

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
