Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and quantity take-offs based on drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Develop, monitor and control project budgets throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Support tender preparation and evaluation , including reviewing contractor and supplier bids and contract negotiations.
• Monitor project costs, identify variations and implement measures to prevent cost overruns.
• Work with design and construction teams on value engineering and cost optimisation .
• Identify and manage financial and commercial risks throughout the project.
• Provide regular cost and financial updates to clients, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with relevant contractual requirements, regulations, industry standards and company policies .

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of Quantity Surveying experience within the construction, built environment or related sector.
• Professional accreditation is advantageous.
• Proficient in cost estimation software and Microsoft Excel .
• Strong understanding of budgeting, cost control and contract-related matters.
• Strong analytical, numerical, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
