Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist WSHEO in enforcing all WSH requirements, legislative requirements as well as in-house policies
- Identify and rectify all unsafe acts or conditions in the workplace
- Conduct Toolbox Meeting/WeeklyCoordination Meeting/Monthly Safety Meeting with relevant stakeholders
- Ensure all necessary permits are applied and approved prior to start of work
- Conduct Safety Induction for required personnel
- Liaise with all stakeholders to initiate submission of necessary documents before entry to site
- Assist WSHO in preparing, reviewing and maintaining necessary documents eg. RA, SWP, Risk Register etc
- Engage and conduct regular activities to promote and educate site personnel on safety and health issues.
- Ensure all plants and machinery are equipped with valid Certifications and in good working condition
- Conduct regular site walks and inspections to ensure compliance with site policies
- Ad-hoc matters deemed necessary for project progression
Requirements & Experience
- Possess an Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a WSHC role with Main-Contractor
- Good knowledge of Workplace Safety & Health Act
- Advantage to have other relevant certifications
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work independently and have initiative
- 6-day work week
- Remuneration package shall commensurate with qualification and experience
